Abe Jacob

Abe Jacob serves as Chief Quality Officer (CQO) for M Health Fairview and is an Associate Professor at the University of MN.  He has served in the role of CQO since 2019 and oversees quality and patient and employee safety for M Health Fairview. Prior to becoming CQO, Abe served as Chief Medical Officer at MHFV University of MN Masonic Children’s Hospital, a role he had held since 2012.  He previously practiced primary care at MHFV Eagan Clinic from 1998-2005, then came to the University to start the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (Pediatric Hospitalists).  He completed a master’s in healthcare administration in 2012 at the U of M School of Public Health.   He continues to practice clinically in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Clinics and Surgery Center, MHFV University Children’s Clinic and Masonic Children’s Hospital.  He and his wife Christy have 7 children and have called MN home for their entire marriage spanning over 27 years.
